The Gun at Point du Boc ....

A section of commandos has landed at and joined with resistance fighters to knock out the gun at Point du Boc; the gun commands the approaches to Saint Marin which is to be raided by a larger commando force to destroy German invasion materials and landing barges...

---oXo---

The gun emplacement at 'Point du Boc'.....
Approaching - the resistance fighters and the section of commandos....
some of the resistance fighters are spotted by a motorbike patrol, which receives a spray of bullets - wounding the sidecar rider.. they turn round and head back to report ....
A kubelwagon patrol coming down one of the roads is dealt with ....
The motorbike patrol reports to the officer in charge ....
The German troops rush out of their billets and start to deploy ....
the commandos and resistance fighters deal with a another kubelwagon patrol as they work their way towards the right of the gun emplacement...
the commandos move forward while some of the resistance fighters go to neutralise the pill box ...
with the pill box neutralised and the anti-aircraft gun destroyed, the commandos edge forward under heavy lmg fire from the germans; meanwhile some of the resistance have worked their way round the germans other flank ...
the attackers charge in firing ....
the germans in the centre have been dealt with ....
and the attack continues forward to the compound...
grenades lobbed into the supplies set them alight; the germans fall back to the gun emplacement ....
the  commandos and resistance fighters move in to finish them off and knock out the gun ....

mission accomplished

Working on some 28mm U-boat crew. I've used the set from Empress Miniatures and a couple of other figs from some other packs for the 'on boat crew'
for a landing party I've bought a selection of figs from Empress Miniatures which will be tweaked as needed (I may not use all of the ones shown below)...
